We carefully select the finest materials for our furniture. Our primary woods include Narra Wood, Mahogany, Gmelina Wood, and Bamboo, all commonly found in the Philippines. We also incorporate Malaysian woods such as Malaysian Oak, Malaysian Blackwood, and Malaysian Driftwood, chosen for their durability and distinctive beauty. How is Faux Leather made: 

  • Base Fabric: Manufacturers start with a woven or nonwoven Base. Usually made of cotton or polyester
  • Chemical Coating: They apply a plastic coating of polyurethane (PU) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) over the fabric
  • Embossing: Large rollers press a realistic leather grain texture onto the surface 

Main Types:

  • PU Leather (Polyurethane): This type is soft, flexible and breathable. Its widely used for clothing, jackets and fashion accessoires
  • PVC Leather (Polyvinyl) : This type is stiff, waterproof and tough. It's often used for heavy furniture upholstery and car interiors.

Pros and Cons

  • Pros: it costs less than real leather, requires no animal hide, and comes in many colors. You can find options like Faux Leather Fabric easily for DIY projects
  • Cons: It does not last as long as genuine leather and can crack or peel over time
